FCC v Uxbridge Casuals

By | June 26, 2011

Fulmer 247 for 5

Uxbridge Casuals 244 for 5

FCC won by 5 wickets

Uxbridge won the toss and batted on a good track. We took the first two wickets with not many on the board but then the middle order took a liking to Mark and Julian’s bowling.

Scores of 62 retired injured, 85, 17, 28 and 22 took the tally to 244 off their 40 overs for the loss of only 5 wickets. Mark took 2 wickets with 1 a piece falling to Ali, Zeeshan, Del and Graham. While we have made scores of that level already during the season I think it was probably the highest target we had been set.

We looked like being in a little trouble with Ali and Nick going for 16 each but Prash played a wonderful innings of 140 not out. I can’t recall him giving a chance in that total which underlines his superb concentration on the day. Other contributions were Zeeshan 10, Mark 1, Gravinder 34 and Peter B 3 not out. Prash finished off the innings in style with a 6.
