We won the toss and did the usual thing and batted. Ali 11 and Prash 14 got in but could not go on to make scores. Zeeshan 36 and Will 27 provided us with some hopes of a big score but with Peter B 16 and Graham 13 being the only ones in double figures the tail did not wag.
We welcomed back Danny Jackson to the side. He was looking a little rusty but showed some glimpses of his quality in getting his 9 runs. Paul was left on 7 not out.
ROCC were off to a solid start with their openers Prakash and Dinesh making 48 and 14 respectively. Ali and Zeeshan had opened the bowling but pace seemed to suit out opponents.
Del brought himself on and immediately had the wickets tumbling. He cleaned up the openers and the middle order before Parag took to us with a match winning 29. Also wides chimed in with an impressive 21. We had our chances but were about 25 runs short.
The tailenders finished off the runs but not before Del had taken 6 wickets for only 25 runs. Paul and Ali ended with 1 wicket a piece.
