We lost the toss and were asked to bowl. We had Colin Terry out cheaply but then were confronted by a couple of very handy bats Seymour (74) and S Morris (68). They batted very competently and scored pretty quickly. Their 105 partnership was a great foundation and while we took wickets reasonably regularly after that, with no other bat making more than 16 they were on target for a good total. Read more »

There was an incredible build of clouds as the wind swept across the fields below Windsor Castle. The prospects for completing a match looked pretty grim. However Del won the toss and we set about building a decent target. Read more »

Having suffered a reversal earlier in the season our opponents arrived keen to restore the balance. Fulmer won the toss and as a result elected to bat, a trouble free start gave every indication that we were going to post a big score. Read more »

A rather threatening sky greeted the intrepid travellers from Fulmer as they arrived at the picturesque Bellingdon ground.

Peter Box, skipper for the match. won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch was suffering from the wet weather and proved very slow which, together with a very slow outfield, made scoring a trifle difficult. Read more »

GWR Trailfinders v FCC

We were advised on the Thursday evening before the match that GWR could not raise a side for our fixture. Despite our best efforts we were not able to find opponents.

FCC v Twickenham CC (Fourth XI)

CYPOS CC could not raise a side so we found a replacement in Twickenham CC league fourth XI. Having waited and watched the rain falling until around 3:30pm the match was abandoned.

Thumbs up to the lads from Twickers who were a really nice bunch and were keen to play. One for the Fixtures Secretary to note for next year.
