Fulmer Cricket Club
Fulmer Cricket Club is a friendly village club based at
Fulmer in South Buckinghamshire. We play Saturday and Sunday fixtures
throughout the season from April to September. We do not play league or
cup cricket – all fixtures are competitive but friendly.
The club likes to promote the younger members and we
have playing members from 14 to 60 and had the distinction of fielding
teams made up of completely father and sons.
The club’s aims are:
• To promote the game of cricket
• To provide a friendly atmosphere to all – players and supporters
• To contribute to the enjoyment and village atmosphere of Fulmer
The club is almost entirely self-sufficient; all funds come from the
members themselves and the ground work and maintenance is done by the
playing members.
The ground has recently been completely
renovated and benefits from a large modern clubhouse serving decent ales
throughout matches.
A children's play area with new modern activities is
located on the outfield making Fulmer an ideal place for a family day
out.
Net
sessions (weather permitting) and selection take place Tuesday evenings
at the ground
New players are welcome at all times
